First day of VBS

Thank you all for your prayers as to the weather for the VBS. We have had very pleasant weather so far: 80*, slightly cloudy and with a breeze.

Here is a picture of the Assemblées de Dieu church ( ADD for short) in Narbonne. It's a large facility by French standards with an ample auditorium, classrooms, a great kitchen and a courtyard where we eat. For sports, we take the kids to a local pétanque court. The church is situated in a residential area by the canal.

For our first day, we only had 6 children. Zach 4:10 says "Do not despise the day of small beginnings". Pray that more kids will come throughout the week!

Some of us went out into the streets with flyers to invite more children. Most people were very receptive. We'll see what tomorrow holds.
